Remember Joy?…. She’s the bride who ordered the cake pops from me last month. Well, I just found her and her hubby a very cool couple. No wonder their wedding cake reflects their personality and the love that they have for each other.
It was a one-tier cake made of my homemade fondant. Joy gave me the liberty to create the cake design for them.
But she suggested to have a very cute cake topper where the groom was tied up and his mouth was plastered with a piece of note saying “yes”. It seemed that there’s no way for him to disagree for the marriage and bride was giddily happy for her wedding day.
I added their name initials on the cake side A for Andy and J for Joy.
There’s bunting behind the couple as Mr. & Mrs.
Before the cake and cake pops were brought to the reception venue. I set the buffet table at home and took a picture of these very cool and delicious sweets.
On the night of her wedding party, it was only the first time that I met Joy in person. Her wedding ceremony was held in the afternoon at the Philippine Embassy in Muscat Oman while the wedding banquet was held at Adobo Authentic Filipino Cuisine Restaurant in Seeb.
I took a souvenir picture of me and Joy and posted on my facebook account with caption:
“With the bride. I’m glad I found another client-turned-good-friend. Thank you Joy for inviting us last night. We truly enjoyed the party last night. Congratulations to you and Andy. May the Lord bless you both and make you good stewards of another life He will bestow upon you very soon.”
This is yet another fulfilling moment in my baking life. coz I found not just a client but a friend.
I wish Joy and Andy an everlasting love and happy family life.
