Today is her birthday and her day is not complete without a celebration may it be simple or grand. She’s happy to spend her special day with her classmates and newfound friends in Philippine School Muscat.
Anyah’s birthday falls on the 10th of August. Since we just arrived last week from our trip in the Philippines, I have decided to have a simple celebration of her birthday in Philippine School. Other than that, Jesse is still in the Philippines for an ongoing house project.
I asked my best friend Analyn and her husband Rod to help me in the preparation. Good thing, they are readily available to extend their hands.
A week before my daughter’s birthday, I asked her teacher if possible to host the celebration during their snack time. She instantly agreed and told me that little kids love to have McDonald’s food.
Immediately, I went to McDonald restaurant in Al Khuwair to pre-order the food for the birthday. The manager is a Filipino and very friendly. He gave me discount because of the bulk order.
On her special day, I took the food from McDonald’s and brought to the school. My friends Anne and Rod along with their friends helped me in the food distribution.
The little kids are very excited. I baked the ombre birthday cupcakes for Anyah which the kids enjoyed so much.
These kids rendered a song to Anyah in Arabic and English Language. They were clapping their hands because of excitement.
My daughter’s smile gleamed with happiness and pure joy.
Thank you friends and superfriends for the help during the event. Thank you dear God for the blessing to Anyah and my family.
