I made this cake for my work buddy Roger who celebrated his birthday last November 9th. He specifically requested for a kind of cake that is not too sweet and not to bitter. So I was thinking of making this Bittersweet Chocolate cake instead. And viola! Everybody loves the cake.
Actually, I used about 70% chocolate powder that give this cake a deep dark choco color. I also reduced the amount of sugar to give the cake a bittersweet taste.
Now, the choco ganache that covered the entire cake is also made of 70% choco powder.
You can also see kitkat wafers, choco sticks, and hershey bars on the cake just in case the guest love to have a sweet blend of chocolate.
Honestly, it just took 30-minutes for the cake to be consumed after it was served to the guests who are my work colleagues in my new workplace.
Just in time that Roger had his bday before the Oman’s 44th National Day and we took this photo souvenir for the occasion and sending our wishes to the whole country.
