This is the cake and cupcakes I made for Jacob’s first birthday yesterday. It’s a two-tier cake and decorated with royal blue using airbrush technique. The crown is made of gum paste and brushed with gold pearl dust.
Tiny crowns made of gum paste were the cupcake toppers. I really enjoy my time molding this tiny royal crowns.
Meanwhile, the cake has a huge life size crown made of gum paste. I downloaded a crown template from the internet, printed it, traced it on wax paper, and cut on the gum paste.
The whole cake was airbrushed with royal blue giving it a velvet blue color. It was a huge and heavy cake.
Jacob’s mom, Ronica, shared on her facebook screenshots of the party venue.
