The following day, July 11th, we invited our families and relatives for lunch at a local restaurant in Surigao City. We tried the delicious food offered by the Flavors Restaurant located just opposite of my parents-in-law house in Km. 3 National Highway.
The restaurant is small but very cozy and inviting. I like the interior design especially the full glass in front that allows the natural light to brighten the whole place. They also have a full rack of wine displayed at the main entrance. The white cushion chairs add an illusion to the place making it look clean and dainty.
We occupied two tables: one big eight-seater round table for my family and my brother-in-law’s family; and a four-seater rectangular table for our parents.
From their menu, we ordered a huge platter of seafood mix, pancit bihon, calamares, fried chicken, and chopsuey. After dinner, we all head home to my parent’s house to get the “pasalubong” or good items that we brought from Oman.
