What do you think of this cake? Is it cute… sweet…beautiful…nice. or simply romantic?Yes, those were some of the comments I got from my friends when I posted the cake photo last February 14th. In one day, the photo garnered a hundreds likers. For me, this cake is totally attractive. Zeny is a doting mom of three adorable little musketeers. She likes to prettify little things and everything especially in her home. I guess it is very obvious because she is an architect by profession. Other than that, I can see that she is truly madly deeply growing in love with her hubby Johnson. I can say that because found this couple very very sweet to each other. Days ahead, Zeny sent to me a photo of the cake that had a silhouette image of a girl and a boy where a boy holds hundreds of heart balloons behind his back while the girl seemed delighted to receive the balloons as her gift.
But Zeny altered the image where she wanted to have an man and woman instead. The woman was the one holding the hundred colorful balloons. The woman is wearing red pump shoes with red hair ribbons. I made the image more romantic and sweeter by showing that the couple is kissing with each other.
A night before Valentines Day, I delivered the cake to Zeny in her home. She and her two children JZ and Enzo were patiently waiting on the ground floor of their building for the cake to arrive. They wanted to surprise Johnson with their gifts for V-day.
Then, I saw on facebook the photo that was tagged to Zeny. It came from Johnson and he was thanking his wife and the kids for their gestures of LOVE.
He quoted… “Thanks sa Cake mom… Iba na talaga ang panahon ngayon…hehehehe!— feeling loved with Zeny Liz Bumalay-Gutierrez.” [Thanks for (the) Cake mom…It’s now really a different time…hehehe!] The line means that time now has change where women are more expressive of their feelings than their male partners. Other than that, zeny also commented: “Made my hubby really happy I’ve chosen the best design and the best baker Thank you!” This line is very heartwarming as an aspiring baker like me.
