In this tutorial, I am going to share to you how to transfer the face of the INCREDIBLE HULK – one of the famous avenger heroes – on a fondant cake.
The cake was ordered by Patty for his son’s 6th Birthday. Initially, Patty gave me the liberty to choose the design for Mat’s cake. I browsed the internet and this was the cake picture that I suggested to her:
and she approved.
Before decorating the cake, I first downloaded the picture of this incredible hero.
and printed on a paper that was fitting on an 8-inches diameter cake.
Next, I colored the fondant with a Moss green liquid gel from Wilton and another fondant with Black color.
I covered the cake with the Moss green fondant.
Using an edible pen, I traced the face of incredible hulk on a wax paper.
With a very sharp blade, I slowly imprinted the wax paper outline to the black fondant starting with the hair. The hair was then attached to the cake using an edible glue.
Followed, by the huge wide-open mouth.
Then, the scary eyes shadows.
The very prominent nose and cheeks.
Adding the white fondant to come up with a ferocious eyes.
And those big white teeth.
I added Name blocks on the cake sides for an enhanced accent.
Then here’s the cake in the box.
Patty tagged me on her facebook post with this caption:
“Fantastic cake and cupcakes Riah!! So, so gorgeous AND yummy. Andreas usually stops eating once he’s finished the frosting but he finished an entire cupcake this time. smile emoticon”
With the attached picture:
By the way, Patty also ordered those green cupcakes as additional sweets in the party.
Thank you for reading. Come back again!
