I have posted previously on how to make a fondant Lilo Cake topper and I also promised to share to you the cake I made for my younger sister’s birthday last January.
The cake was my sister’s choice. As you can see in the printed photo at the background, there were three cake designs that we used in this cake.
The two-tier cake is perfect for a hawaiian-themed birthday party. The first layer is like the seawater with varying shades of blue.
The second layer is like the beach sand. I used cookie crumbs and sprinkled it on top. I also added the edible flower I made during my Wilton Course 4 as an extra decor on the cake.
Behind Lilo is a gum paste Long Board, colored pink for a girly look.
By the way, it is a chocolate cake with blueberry filling which my sister loves a lot. Here’s a view of what’s inside the cake.
It is coated with cream cheese frosting.
Does it look tempting??? yeah…looks delicious.. right??
Well, I took again another angle of the cake.
And here’s a photo of my sister with her specially requested cake.
During the party, my sister prepared several concoctions and drinks while we were singing and eating. It was an enjoyable party indeed.
Thanks for reading this post. Hope you enjoy.
This is another “cakespiring story” happily shared to you by HAPPY BAKER DELIGHTS.
