After our breakfast and swimming at Bimmah sink hole, we drive down south towards Sur. After an hour and half, we arrived in this little town that is well-known for making the Oman Ship or Dhow.
It is already lunch time when we get there. We scouted a nice shaded kiosk along the Corniche or baywalk.
It is a serene and peaceful afternoon with a classic view of the bell tower fronting on us in an opposite islet.
Then we stroll around the little town that is once the ancient boatbuilding center in Oman and early people built rugged seagoing “dhows” (ship) for fishing.
