A “ganache” that is made of heavy cream and melted dark chocolate filled in between the layers of the cake giving it a very deep and a bit bitter chocolatey taste.
To give a classy look to the cake, I made the chocolate strips using the melted dark chocolate bar and cocoa butter. The cocoa butter, also called theobroma oil, is a pale-yellow, edible vegetable fat extracted from the cocoa bean. It is gives the chocolate the best cocoa flavor and aroma. By the way, I will share to you later how to make the choco strips.. it’s totally fun and very easy!
The “birthday greeting” on the top of the cake is made from buttercream with nutella cream.. Very deliciously goodly indeed!
