Queen Elsa of Arendelle Cake

Queen Elsa Cake for Areeqa

Queen Elsa Cake for Areeqa

Other than the “Frozen” Cupcakes, mommy Kathy also ordered the Queen Elsa Cake for her daughter Areeqa’s 6th Birthday. Take a look at this Snow Queen, isn’t she’s pretty? Well, for me, I fall in love with her the moment I saw her on the kid’s toy section in a local supermarket in Muscat.

This cake was made of chocolate with buttercream frosting. Since the doll was too tall for the cake, I carefully removed her legs and replaced it with dowel to stand above the cake. I wrapped her body with a cling film before putting fondant for her upper dress.

I colored the fondant with light blue and covered the gown. Some embossed stars were decorated around the skirt. I also used the gumpaste to create the frills of her shawl.

Mommy Kathy requested to add Olaf the Snowman because Areeqa loved this character too.

I was truly happy to know from Kathy that her daughter loves the cake so much that she’s proud to show to classmates what her mom prepares for her birthday.

Thank you for reading this post. Come back again soon.

Lots of Love,

Riah – the Lady behind Happy Baker Delights 🙂
