Another client made an order for a Purple Yam (Ube Cake) the other day. She got curious with the cake so she give it a try.
Her name is Hanna who is a nurse at Muscat Royal Hospital. She is so generous that she wants to share the cake with her friends and colleagues in the hospital.
With this cake, I used cream cheese frosting to cover the cake and the macapuno or coconut sport for the filling.
The top was spread with grated and mashed purple yam. There are gold pearls on top for added beauty.
Right now, I’m still thinking for different style to design this purple yam cake because for sure many clients will order this kind of cake later on.
