Christmas is just three days away!
This is my favorite time of the year because it is a season of giving and sharing. It is also a time of loving and forgiving. Above all, I am fortunate to survive the challenges and receive unexpected blessings from Almighty God. With that there is no greater joy than celebrating this festivity.
As an expression of our faith and love, our small community volunteered to sponsor an evening mass at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Ruwi, Oman last Wednesday. There were twenty-five of us including small children came and bring offerings for the church, for the victims of calamity, and for the sick and needy. We also offered our intimate prayers to our families, friends, and love ones.
While we gathered around, we found these wonderful festive decorations that adorned the church vicinity. I let my little kids stood beside the giant Christmas tree and the beautiful nativity.
And I want to share these joyful photos to you as my entry to Ailsa of Where’s my backpack challenge this week on FESTIVE.
“Let the spirit of love gently fill our hearts & homes.
In this loveliest of seasons may you find many reasons for happiness and a meaningful celebration.”
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE AND MAY FAITH, LOVE, and HOPE REIGN IN OUR HEARTS!
