I’m glad I created a fan page of my cake business on facebook because my prospect clients get to see my cake creations. It is also on that page that I advertise my cakes and my client can send inquiries. Just like Mona, who simply sent a message for her cake order for her son’s 15th Birthday last week.
Mona also lives in Al Khuwair, just four blocks away from my home. She said she is fond of yema. She was happy that she stumble on my page and saw that I made a Yema flavored cake before.
Yema is special kind of candy in the Philippines that is made of egg yolks and sweetened milk and heated on slow cook fire until it gets sticky and chewy like a candy. This sweet is normally sold in the schools because kids love the blend taste of egg and milk.
Now Yema frosting or custard frosting can be also be used to coat the chiffon cake. The frosting mixture is made of eggyolks, sweetened milk, evap milk, and butter. There are shredded cheddar cheese on the cake side for an added flavor.
Thank you for reading this post. See you again soon.
Lots of Love,
